Short End Film Measuring Stick

These film sticks will help measure your 35mm and 16mm short ends right from the comfort of your own changing tent! The perfect secondary addition to any loaders kit (right after our Perfect Perf film scissors), these 3D printed measuring sticks show you if that short end is worth saving or wasting.

NOTE: 2" and 3" refers to the film core diameter. 2" is most common for on-set shooting (original/raw stock). This includes 16mm, 35mm and VistaVision formats. 3" cores are for 65/70mm formats and post processing labs/editorial. 3" sticks feature new ridges along the top so you can easily differentiate while inside the tent. These measurements are most accurate for color film stocks with remjet, B/W and newer AHU films would have slightly shorter readings. Stay tuned...
